Biostratex Sdn Bhd (934999-T) is a Malaysian company that specialized in Geological laboratory analyses and consultancy services for oil and gas industry in Malaysia and South East Asian Region. Established in 2011 and the laboratory is located at Batu Caves Industrial Area, Kuala Lumpur.

 

We have expertise in Palynology, Microfauna (Foraminifera), Nannofossil, Geochemistry and Sedimentology. Our people have more than 25 years of oil industry experiences in each specialization. Our laboratory analyses are done in Malaysia and at very competitive rates and uncompromised quality services.

We are an expert in Biostratigraphic database system using industry standard software to compile all biostratigraphic data for the client. We have access to Petrographic Database system (Petrog) and ALT-WellCad for sedimentological core description. These software databases could be integrated to give intelligent solutions for the client.

We can also provide project driven training for geological analysis and integration with seismic and geological modeling. Biostratex also offers courses (classroom and field) for geologists and biostratigraphers on Tertiary biostratigraphy and sequence biostratigraphy.
